Perito Moreno

The most beautiful glacier I've ever seen in my life. You can hear the crackling of the ice and see bits of the glacier falling off into the icy waters. The bright blue colors of the glacier are trapped gases within the ice and snow.

We raided Santi's fridge the first morning after 10 hours of sleep. Here's what we ate: Choco Krispies y Zucaritas con Leche AND Dulce de Leche with Toast. MMMMMMMMNNNNN TOTAL SUGAR HIGH!

LA BOCA
Marcel and I paid 1 Peso (about .35 CHF) for a 30 minute busride to La Boca. Beautifully colored buildings, cobblestone streets, couples dancing the Tango, people eating and drinking! What a lively area.

Santi took us out ot the best Argentine Steak House in Buenos Aires.

Last Day in Basel ¦ Letzter Tag in Basel

The night before our flight was Hamburger Night with Sandra & Thomas. We also practiced Spanish and Japanese lessons with the computer. We ate.. organized and did laundry. I could hardly sleep.. Marcel had no problem at all and slept like a bear.

Unsere letzte Abschiedsparty im Paddy Reilys

Meine Freundin und ich sind seit einem Monat auf Abschiedstour bei all unseren Freunden.
Gestern Abende feierten wir dann unsere letzte Abschiedsparty Paddy Reilys.
Meine Freunden waren echt der Hammer. Als Abschiedsgeschenk überreichten sie mir ein
T-Shirt welches sie selber entworfen haben. Super!





Die Party ging fröhlich bis in die frühen Morgenstunden.

Tamagotchi!!! Virtual Pets

We've been living now for 2 weeks with Sandra & Thomas. Since they need to look after us and watch our sleeping, eating and playing patterns, they've nicknamed us their "Tamogotchis."


Ichigotchi = Vanessa
Teen-ager, sincere, a little hasty, loves to dance and eat chocolate.





Young Mimitchi = Marcel
Teen-ager, sincere, always says, "I wanna use the internet, can I download something?"

Living in the Attic | Wohnen im Dach

Here is our current living situation in the attic space. It is nice, quiet and private. Our bed is a real Japanese futon bed... very hard, but actually quite good for you back to sleep on. These days I'm sleeping great, although the anticipation of our trip is getting me excited!
